If you are a photographer or just a regular person who is passionate about photography, then your hard disk is probably filled up with photos. Organizing all these photos and finding a desired one when needed seems like a big problem. Windows doesn't allow organizing photos in a certain way and using the search tool for finding a desired photo may take a very long time. But fortunately, there is a program which allows you to organize all your photos and find them in the best and most efficient way possible. The program I am talking about is PicBlitz.

This simple Windows app can automatically scan all the images stored on your computer and can automatically organize them by date or by folder's name, allowing you to look for a certain photo in the easiest way possible. For helping you with that, there is even a search tool available in the program, which can look for a certain photo just by entering a part of its name or the date it was taken. There is a built-in calendar available, for quickly selecting the date of the photo.

Selecting a day of the month will automatically display all the photos taken in that specific day. For allowing all these features to work, the program must first index all the photos stored on the computer. For this, one just needs to select the folder where all his photos are located. Besides allowing searching for photos, PicBlitz also includes some extra features, like a slideshow which can automatically display all the photos in a certain folder, and a feature for resizing all the images at once using various resolution presets.

For shortening the time required to index all the photos in case the program is reinstalled, its complete database can be backed up as a file. PicBlitz supports a wide range of image formats and offers the user the possibility to select which image formats should be scanned.
